And then I realised: You are not here, you are not real…
anymore.

When I first met Ben I was a more emotional feeler and he was a less balanced thinker. It’s odd to think how much we’ve both changed in the last several years.
In particular I recall one moment strongly, we hadn’t known each other long or that well: We were working on a project, he had just stepped into the lead designer role. He asked how many of the art assets he could throw away. Of our team of 3 artists only one didn’t fail classes the previous semester in order to dedicate more time to the project.Intellectually, it was a good thing to know where the boundaries where/how far we could push things. it was a very TJ way of asking. Just about all the INTJs I’ve known have gone through (or mentioned going through) a period where they bulldozed people to some extent. It’s good to find boundaries and important to learn your strength. You’ll see a fair bit of this attitude on forums, archetypically the angry teenage INTJ that want to purge irrationality out of the world. Best type of INTJ to become a super villain. Type of INTJ most likely to be mistaken for an ENTJ. Sadly, many people’s stereotype of an INTJ.

Avengers MBTI types
I watched the Avengers again today, and this time I kept a special eye out for MBTI types. I think I have them pinned down, but some I’m less sure of than others.
Captain America/Steve Rogers: ISTJ
Iron Man/Tony Stark: ENTJ
Thor: ESTJ (Edit: someone said he’s an ESFP which makes a lot of sense with his characterization in “Thor” but less so in “Avengers.” I don’t think his characterization is consistent between the two which is why he’s one of the ones I had trouble placing. Though, rethinking things, he probably is a feeling type.)
Loki: INTJ (If you were looking solely at the Avengers he might come across as ENTJ, but when you consider his characterization in Thor, he’s clearly an INTJ on a war path.)
Hawkeye/Clint Barton: ISTP
Bruce Banner: INFP (Hulk is not really type-able since he’s not a fleshed out character, but I would guess he’s an ESFP if anything.)
Black Widow/Natasha Romanov: INTJ (highly developed Se user, but still Ni/Te dominant)
Nick Fury: ENTJ (this is the one I’m least sure of, but every other type makes even less sense to me.)
Phil Coulson: ISTJ
Clearly, this mythology favors Thinking types. It’s an interesting contrast to other stories, like Harry Potter, that have Feeling types for the majority of their protagonists.
